Refreshing Eyelash Extensions After a Humid NJ Summer
Heat, sunscreen, and pool days take a toll. Here is how to reset your set for fall without waiting until it looks sparse.

New Jersey humidity, sunscreen near the eyes, and skipped cleansing are common reasons a summer set looks thin by late September. The adhesive is not failing in a vacuum — the lash line competed with oil and sweat for weeks.
Start by returning to daily cleansing with a dedicated lash cleanser, then book a fill before the set is patchy. If almost nothing remains, ask for a full set so mapping can be rebuilt cleanly.
Oil-based removers and rubbing shorten wear year-round. Fall is a good moment to reset habits, not only the set.
If lashes feel itchy, crusty, or painful, contact the studio instead of waiting it out. Irritation is not a normal break-in period.
Rhondi remaps classic, hybrid, or volume based on what your natural lashes can support now — which may differ from June.

Common questions
Why did my lashes shed more in summer?
Humidity, oil, sunscreen near the lash line, and inconsistent cleansing commonly shorten retention. Daily cleansing and timely fills protect the set.
Should I get a fill or a full set after summer?
If density is still mostly even, book a fill. If the set is very sparse, a full set rebuilds the map — Rhondi will advise when you call.
