Microblading Aftercare: How to Protect Your New Brows in NJ

Official Diva Derm post-op brow care — what to do in the first 30 minutes through day 14 so pigment settles evenly and your brows heal soft and natural.

Beautiful microblading is only half the result — healing is the other half. Follow these Diva Derm post-operative instructions so your brows settle soft, even, and natural.

30 minutes after your service: Gently swipe your brows to remove any leftover pigment or blood, then apply the healing Aquaphor ointment Rhondi provides.

The night of your service: Wash your hands and wet two cotton rounds with warm water. Apply mild, unscented soap to the cotton round and wash your brows thoroughly. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Use one antiseptic wipe to gently swipe over your brows, then apply healing ointment before you sleep.

From this point until your brows are healed, keep them as dry as possible. In the shower, keep your face out of the direct stream of water. On days you wash your hair, use a shower guard to protect the brows. Keep a clean paper towel nearby — if they get wet, pat dry immediately and reapply healing ointment.

Days 2–14: Apply healing ointment morning and night, enough to keep the area moist. Reapply as needed if the brows start to feel tight or itchy.

Do not pick at your brows while they heal. Any flaking should fall off naturally for the best healed result. Avoid heavy sweating, saunas, steam rooms, and immersing your brows in water — no swimming until Rhondi clears you.

Avoid Botox, chemical peels, and fillers for three weeks after your session. Skip retinol, serums, lotion, and makeup on or around the brows for the full healing window (about 1½–2 weeks).

Color often looks darker at first, then softens as the skin renews. You should already be booked for your perfecting session — if not, reach out so we can get you on the calendar and fine-tune shape and density.
